1988

Richard Madeley and Judy Finnigan host the first episode on 3 October, live from Liverpool.

2001

They’re replaced by Coleen Nolan and Twiggy, who present on rotation with John Leslie and Fern Britton.

2002

Phil replaces John Leslie as co-presenter alongside Fern.

2009

Holly replaces Fern as co-presenter alongside Phil.

2011

This Morning wins the National Television Award for Best Daytime/ Live Magazine Show. It has won the award for eight years in a row.

2018

Holly and Phil celebrate This Morning’s 30th year with a special BAFTA recognition award and a prime-time documentary.
