‘Extensions give me confidence & save me time’

-

ChARLEY WILLIAmS-hOWItt, 40, is Group Beauty director.

I had really long, amazing hair up until I was about 16 years old, but then I started colouring, perming and wrecking my hair – as teenagers do – so it became really fine, damaged and straggly. I was obsessed with having gorgeous thick swishy hair, but never dreamt I would get it. Extensions were a revelation to me. They make it possible for me to have the long, full hair I crave, which makes me feel confident and attractive. Also, with a baby and a busy life, they actually save me time because I don’t have to wash my hair as much (twice a week, as the extensions never look greasy), and I can style my hair so easily. Every six weeks I’ll have maintenance (basically hoick them up!), and I’d say every three months I’d have them taken out and redone.

COSt Charley has Racoon extensions at Fowler35 (fowler35. com). Find your local technician at racooninternational.com. Prices vary but are generally upwards of £100.
