‘long hair is so versatile’

EdIth hENdERSON, 65, IS REtIREd. Apart from cutting it short when I was pregnant, I’ve always had long hair. It gives me confidence and makes me feel feminine. I find it very versatile, too – you can style it up or down. I generally blow-dry it myself, but now I’m retired, I go to the hairdressers once a week, which makes me feel great. I can make that last a good four days. I’ve always had it coloured but I’m going to let it go grey – I’ve worked out wearing it up will help me make that transition more easily.
