Day 1
FLy OVERNIGHT TO INDIA
Day 2
INCLuDED QuWWAT-uLISLAM MOSQuE ExCuRSION arrive in delhi to be greeted by your tour manager, then transfer to your hotel for lunch. In the afternoon, you have a chance to explore the ruins of the Quwwat-ulIslam mosque and the ornate Qutb minar tower.
Day 3
INCLuDED DELHI CITy TOuR AND TRAVEL TO AGRA this morning, a guided tour of the old City will introduce you to Jama masjid mosque, and raj Ghat, Gandhi’s cremation site. you’ll see the red fort, and take a rickshaw ride. you’ll also see the India Gate war memorial, the boulevard of the rajpath and parliament House. later, we travel to agra, to see the taj mahal at sunset. your guided tour of agra will also take in the royal pavilions, palaces and courtyards of agra fort.
Day 4
INCLuDED ExCuRSIONS TO THE TAJ MAHAL, ABHANERI, HARSHAT MATA TEMPLE AND CHAND BAORI STEPWELL see the taj mahal at dawn, from across the yamuna river. after breakfast, visit abhaneri, and see the Harshat mata temple and the Chand baori stepwell. then travel to ranthambhore national park, stopping for lunch at umaid lake palace. ranthambhore is home to a number of India’s famous tigers. relax for the afternoon, then enjoy an evening tiger talk with a local naturalist.
Day 5
GuIDED WILDLIFE SAFARIS
INTO RANTHAMBHORE NATIONAL PARK this morning, search for striped hyenas, sambar deer, sloth bears and tigers, led by an expert naturalist guide. after lunch, enjoy a second guided safari.
Day 6
FROM RANTHAMBHORE TO JAIPuR this morning, after the chance to climb up the 273 steps to ranthambhore fort on an optional excursion, we travel through rajasthan to Jaipur, where you can relax and settle into your hotel, your base for the next two nights.
Day 7
INCLuDED AMBER FORT AND JAIPuR ExCuRSION discover amber’s palaces and temples, dominated by the stronghold of the amber fort. after an included lunch, tour Jaipur to see the
City palace Complex, with its museums, and Jantar mantar, the ancient astronomical observatory. In the evening, enjoy dinner with a local rajasthani family in the city.
Day 8
FROM AMBER TO VANAASHRyA this morning, head to Vanaashrya, stopping off at the ruined fort of bhangarh. after a relaxing afternoon, you can take a camel cart to visit the local village and enjoy a pre-dinner cookery demonstration. spend the night in a private cottage.
Day 9
INCLuDED HERITAGE TRANSPORT MuSEuM We head for delhi, for the final night of your holiday, and visit the Heritage transport museum.

FLy BACK TO THE uK
