1 position your fire pit away from wind or draughts. 2 place it on a flat solid surface, and away from plants. 3 Check that it’s stable and that the legs, nuts and bolts are all tight. 4 keep children and pets at a safe distance and under control. 5 have a fire blanket close to hand.
