HEART TRANSPLANT PATIENT CHALLENGES SCARIEST DISNEY RIDES

Nurse Nicola Hague turns to AllClear Insurance to achieve travel dreams

-

When Nicola Hague suffered a devastating stroke aged just 18, doctors advised parents Michael and Denise to prepare for the worst – she might not survive the night.

Despite the grave concerns of the medical staff, she pulled through, and today, 40-year old Nicola leads a full and active life, working as a staff nurse at a hospital in Liverpool.

Yet further medical complications meant travel insurance was becoming prohibitively expensive for the family. Not only did they have Nicola’s medical history to contend with, but also Nicola’s mum Denise, 62, has had cancer and her father Michael, 65, has suffered two heart attacks, undergoing a triple bypass after the second. They believed flying was out of the question but dreamed of going to Florida.

At a local clinic, Nicola was recommended to try AllClear Travel Insurance. The family was amazed to discover that AllClear was able to halve the policy costs quoted by other specialist providers. The whole family is now insured through AllClear and

Michael says the company will always be their first port of call:

“Our trip to Florida demonstrates the money we are able to save.” This has really changed Nicola’s holiday potential, being able to now afford a great holiday.
