RETHINK THE CENTREPIECE
‘Table floristry at home doesn’t need to be complicated,’ says Gael. ‘Try using small, colourful glass vessels to hold flowers at different heights.’
Alice agrees: ‘Bud vases of different heights along the table can be impactful and it’s also thrifty. You can buy antique bud vases second hand and use a smaller amount of flowers to make the table feel full.’
For an easy alternative, Skye puts food centre stage. ‘I love to use fruit on the table for an abundant look that adds height and shape to a table,’ she says. Try piling stone fruits into low bowls or onto cake stands for a simple but effective display.
