This trail-blazer in women’s football and TV commentator on the Euros had a truly life-changing experience three years ago when she was pregnant and one of the twin boys she was carrying died. The experience gave her renewed perspective: ‘I look at my son every day and I’m just grateful he’s here, I’m grateful for my job, for my health,’ she says. That’s what changes. You become a bit more vulnerable, but more grateful, more patient, maybe more accepting of life’s vulnerabilities.’
