Her Majesty, with the loss of her husband, the Duke of Edinburgh, and a family torn apart with the acrimonious re-location of Prince Harry and Meghan to the US. No one would have blamed her for stepping aside, but after two weeks of official mourning, she returned to the world stage. She courageously continued to lead the country, this time alone, without the man who had been her rock for so many years.
