This is easy to make with vegetarian or vegan sausages and plant-based ‘bacon’ for a meat-free option.

Serves 6. Ready in 30 mins 6 rashers pancetta or streaky bacon 24 sage leaves 12 pork chipolatas 1

Heat the oven to 200C/Gas 6. Stretch the rashers by placing them on a chopping board and running the back of a knife along until half as long again. Cut in half to make 12 pieces.

2 Put two sage leaves on each piece and wrap each bacon piece around a chipolata. Place in a baking tray. Bake for 20 mins until crispy.

Per serving: 192 cals, 15g fat, 6g sat fat, 3g carbs.
