STENCIL TABLE RUNNER

You will need:

Scissors

Hessian fabric

Easter stencils

Masking tape

Stencil brush or sponge

White acrylic or fabric paint

1 Cut a length of hessian to size and leave the edges frayed for a rustic look. 2 Place on a protected surface and fix the first stencil in position using masking tape.

3 Using a stencil brush or sponge, dab a small amount of paint onto the hessian.

4 Remove the stencil and reposition to create more motifs, wiping off any paint on the underside first.

Allow to dry before overlapping stencils to avoid smudging.
