Day 1
Departure take your overnight direct flight to Colombo.
Day 2
arrival in Colombo you’ll arrive in Colombo, sri lanka’s capital, in the afternoon and stay one night.
Day 3
Dambulla Journey through scenic countryside of paddy fields and dense jungles. arrive in the town of Dambulla and visit the amazing unescolisted cave temples. you will stay two nights in Habarana.
Day 4
Sigiriya rock Morning visit to sigiriya or “lion Rock” to explore the remains of the 1,500-year-old royal palace. the rest of the afternoon is free for you to spend at your leisure.
Day 5
Kandy Depart sigiriya this morning, stopping to visit a captivating spice garden before continuing to Kandy, where you’ll stay two nights.
Day 6
Kandy today, visit the fascinating temple of the tooth, said to hold buddha’s tooth, plus the Royal botanical Gardens, which holds thousands of plant species. this evening, you’ll experience a colourful display of traditional dance.
Day 7
tea Estates Departing Kandy, you’ll drive through increasingly mountainous scenery to visit one of sri lanka’s bestknown tea estates, where you’ll see how the Uk’s favourite drink is produced. stay overnight in Nuwara Eliya, a hill-station called little England due to its spring-like climate.
Day 8
elephant tranSit home anD yala
Visit the Elephant transit Home, where orphans are cared for before being reintroduced to the wild. then continue to your hotel for two nights, located just outside yala National Park.
Day 9
yala national park Explore yala National Park by 4x4 drive and spot wildlife such as leopards, elephants and a variety of birdlife. you may wish to return in the early evening for a second drive through the park.
Day 10
galle Enjoy a guided tour of Galle, a uNEsCo World Heritage site with a 16th-century Dutch fort. then continue to your seaside hotel for three nights.
Day 11/12
Free DayS in galle you have two days to relax and enjoy the beach.
Day 13
return Flight transfer to the airport for your return flight.
