“Accessories really make or break an outfit”

A long bottle green dress by Jenny Packham (left). I’m not sure what I think. It’s better than the dusky pink he’s just shown me, which made me look like a giant cushion, but there’s something stately about it, which I find a bit ageing maybe. “I feel like a green queen,” I say to Oscar. Oscar’s having none of it. “It looks fabulous,” he says. He then finds a pair of silver shoes and a clutch bag, and puts a sparkling comb in my hair. I think I’m beginning to understand what he means, the accessories make the outfit look more “fun”. We agree that I just might wear this to a party. 4/10 w&h
