WARM RUBY PUNCH
Try this simple winter warmer.
Serves 12-15 • Ready in 15mins, plus cooling
1 bottle of red wine
4 cinnamon sticks
8 star anise
400ml each port and vodka tangerine slices, to serve 1 litre soda water
Pour about ¼ of the wine into a pan (reserving the rest), and add the cinnamon sticks and star anise. Heat gently until very hot, but not boiling.
2 Remove from heat and leave to cool. Pour into a bowl and add the port and vodka, plus the rest of the wine. add the tangerine slices and top up with soda water before serving at room temperature.
