I swapped yoga for Doga
gillian abbott, 37, from London and her maltipoo babybelle are doga converts ‘i first tried doga three years ago, when Babybelle was a few months old. i’d been doing a yoga class weekly and thought doga would be a good way to keep fit but include my dog too! my first class was amazing and more challenging than regular yoga in the sense that you really have to focus on your breathing and technique, not what the dogs are up to! it’s good for practising mindfulness. When i get my mat out, Babybelle comes and sits on it straight away! after a doga session she’s always so relaxed. Doga has (like normal yoga) improved my balance and eased bouts of back and neck pain. and Babybelle loves socialising with the other dogs.’
