How pleased are you that All Round to Mrs Brown’s is such a hit and is on to its second series? i’m thrilled. You don’t know until you put something out whether or not the audience are actually going to enjoy it, so it was great to get such a good reaction.
we love when the celebrities’ mothers dish the dirt on their famous offspring… the magic ingredient of this show has been the celebs’ mums. the star will come on and start telling some stories but, when they realise their mother’s coming on and is going to call them out, everything changes. Danny Dyer’s mum christine was hilarious!
you’ll soon be ditching mrs Brown’s bras to front your own BBC1 quiz show… it’s called For Facts Sake. there are two teams and, each week, a different Mrs Brown regular will be captain and play alongside members of the public who have been picked out of the audience. i’m appearing as myself, so i don’t get to hide behind mrs brown’s fat suit!
Does this mean mrs Brown is retiring? not a chance! mammy will go on and on. they’ll carry her out in a wooden box!
