what’s this substance on my toilet paper?

QI have slime coming from my bottom. Sometimes it is a clearish mucous, but it is also mixed with poo. What could it be?

awe all produce a small amount of mucous from the bottom, but it’s usually so little you can’t see it. Excessive mucous has many causes, from infection or inflammation to conditions such as Crohn’s disease, irritable bowel syndrome, a cut in the anus or, more rarely, cancer. See your doctor, who may investigate further.
