Ac­cord­ing to a re­cent study by the Univer­sity of Birm­ing­ham, get­ting in the sad­dle holds back the ef­fects of age­ing. Re­searchers found that cy­cling pre­serves mus­cles mass and strength with age while main­tain­ing sta­ble lev­els of fat and choles­terol at the same time.
