Win with us!

Rachel Sharples, 37, from Rochdale, went on a diving holiday with her win

-

After making myself a cup of tea, I popped upstairs to my bedroom and loaded my laptop. I’d not long finished reading my Woman magazine, and I’d seen an advert inside for Woman Bingo. If you joined with £10, you got up to £50 worth of free bingo tickets, plus 30 free spins on a slot game called Double Bubble.

I’d never played online bingo before, but after reading some of the winners’ stories, I was curious and wanted to give it a try, too. So I signed up, taking advantage of the great welcome offer.

After I played a few games, I got the hang of it and I found myself enjoying a game called Sapphire Bingo the most. Sapphire Bingo is like the 90-ball games from the bingo halls, where you can win with one line, two lines or a Full House.

After a few minutes of playing, I noticed a lady in the chat room was being congratulated. She’d just won £250 for one line. ‘Well done,’ I typed.

It seemed to trigger a conversation between a few of us and I was soon chatting away in the bingo room. I was having so much fun, so I decided to play one more game.

Such a surprise

When I looked at the jackpot total, I was surprised to see that I, along with the other bingo players, was playing for £1,500. Just a few minutes into my game I needed only one more number. Then suddenly, something flashed on my screen.

It was a message of congratulations. ‘I’ve won the jackpot!’ I screamed, running to tell my housemate. He couldn’t believe I’d scooped the jackpot on the first day that I’d joined.

I knew just what I wanted to spend my winnings on, too – I booked a diving holiday to Tenerife for me and a friend.

I even had a little bit left over when I returned, so I’ve saved it and plan to treat myself later this year. I still can’t believe I became a winner on the same day that I joined, it really is an incredible feeling.
