Thinking of you

I reckon we can all agree the third lockdown has been the hardest on our well-being. A new year usually signifies hope, change and resolutions, but the virus paid no heed to our aspirations for a fresh start. Plus the weather was as miserable as we all felt. So

I dig out my collection of sparkly stickers and write cards to friends I know have been struggling. I want to reach out to strangers, too, so I address some envelopes to ‘Someone in need of a smile’ and leave them on a bench. Finding a card like that would make my day, so I hope it helps someone feel connected in disconnected times.
