Giving goods to do good

There’s an old phone box in the village which has been converted into a tiny book store, with a ‘take what you want, give what you can’ ethos. I’ve always wanted to contribute but forget or neglect to make time to do so. So I gather up some books and deliver them. Hoping they bring joy to someone else, rather than dust to my shelves, makes me beam.
