Ewan Mcgregor stars in Netflix drama Halston

Ewan’s first big role was in the 1994 thriller Shallow Grave, but it was playing drug addict Renton in Trainspotting (1996) that propelled him to international fame. He went on to star in hit films including Brassed

Off (1996), Moulin Rouge! (1999) and Black Hawk Down (2001). He also played Obi Wan Kenobi in Star Wars and won a Golden Globe for his role in TV series Fargo (2017).

In five-part drama Halston, Ewan stars as designer Roy Halston Frowick, who was credited with redefining the American fashion industry in the 1970s and 1980s. The series follows Halston as he builds a worldwide fashion empire until a hostile takeover forces him to battle for control of his most precious asset, the Halston name itself… Rory Culkin and Bill Pullman also star.
