POSTNATAL DEPRESSION: THE SIGNS TO LOOK FOR
According to the NHS, if you experience any of the following symptoms for more than two weeks after giving birth, you could have postnatal depression and should speak to your GP or health visitor.

✱ A persistent feeling of sadness and low mood.
✱ Lack of enjoyment and loss of interest in the wider world.
✱ Lack of energy and feeling tired all the time.
✱ Difficulty bonding with your baby.
✱ Withdrawing from contact with other people.
✱ Problems with concentrating and making decisions.
✱ Frightening thoughts, eg, about hurting your baby.
