Toilet troubles
I don’t know if this is brilliant or awful. A pair of festival-goers have invented a urinal for women, after tiring of standing in endless toilet queues. Details of how the ‘semi-private’ Peequal actually works is still a bit of a mystery, but apparently it’s six times faster than using a normal loo. ‘No funnels are involved,’ says co-creator Hazel Mcshane.
