Homemade yogurt

This costs about 60-80% less than shopbought, with one litre of milk making a 750g tub of yogurt. I use a yogurt maker, which costs about £25 online, 1 litre long-life milk and half a small pot of natural live yogurt. Follow yogurt-maker instructions (mine takes 12 hours to convert milk into yogurt, plus cooling). Flavourings:

✱ 1tsp choc spread

✱ Banana/apple/honey

✱ Home-made granola

✱ Fresh or stewed fruit that’s yellow stickered!
