A fashion statement too far

Luxury fashion house Balenciaga has taken Crocs – the incredibly ugly but oh-so-comfy plasticky shoe – and stuck a high heel on them. They come in various shades, but no amount of rainbow colour can hide their awfulness. To add insult to injury, if you want a pair, they’ll set you back £495. Surely no one will actually wear these?
