Woman (UK)

How it works

-

Each household housing a refugee will open their home for a minimum of six months and be offered £350 a month, tax-free. They will not be expected to provide food and living expenses, but can choose to offer this. Every potential host will have to undergo a DBS check, and all Ukrainian arrivals will have been through a police check. Ukrainian refugees will be able to apply for benefits and to seek and take up employment. They will also have access to the NHS and other public services, and their children will be able to attend local schools. To register your interest, visit gov.uk/register-interesthomes-ukraine
