Cut back any overgrown plants
At this time of year, our garden plants are starting to wake up from their winter slumber, so spend a few hours cutting back any dead foliage or stems to make way for new growth. Invest in a sharp pair of secateurs, or a good pruning knife, to make light work of the job and ensure you cut cleanly to protect your plants from unnecessary damage and disease.
