Reports the Queen has been secretly using a wheelchair have emerged in the past week. I can reveal not only are these stories spot on, but a footman at Windsor Castle now has the task of guarding the chair until Her Majesty requires it. This new Master of the Rolls is on hand to help the Queen negotiate the three miles of corridor in her Windsor home. Sources say she is reluctant to use the chair but is comforted by the fact that it is there if needed.
