‘I’VE NAMED MY NEW BOOBS’
Springwatch’s Michaela Strachan,
56, has opened up about her cancer diagnosis and why she wasn’t quick to disclose her situation publicly.
‘I wanted to just plough on as if it wasn’t all happening,’ the presenter revealed, light-heartedly adding, ‘I didn’t want the viewers thinking about my t*ts when I was talking about blue tits.’
Previously Michaela – who, after being diagnosed in 2014 underwent a double mastectomy and is now cancer free – admitted, ‘I found it very difficult to love my “new boobs” so a friend said to me, “Well, name them.” We called them Pina and Colada because they were hard like coconuts.’ Adding,
‘I have to say that really helped.’
