PIERS MORGAN

Before Simon waved his magic wand, former tabloid journalist Piers Morgan was mainly known in media circles, popping up on TV and radio. But that all changed when Simon invited him to join the panel of America’s Got Talent, alongside David Hasselhoff back in 2006, followed by BGT in Britain in 2007. These gigs then led to a series of programmes with ITV, including the hugely successful Piers Morgan’s Life Stories. Now with the launch this week of his new channel, Talktv, Piers has become one of the biggest names in broadcasting.
