‘I JUST WANTED HER TO BE HAPPY’

Guy, 53, says:

‘Our relationship and split was not marked by bitterness. We were just two quite different people who were better off not being together any more. I wanted her to be happy.

‘I enjoy weddings, and it is always an honour to be invited to one, so I was very pleased that my family and I attended Vix and Chris’. I was happy she had met someone that she seemed perfectly matched to.

‘It was a very fun, happy day and it was great for me to catch up with several people I hadn’t seen in many years.

‘When we’ve met up with Vicky and Chris over the years, it just feels like meeting up with old friends and I enjoy seeing her so content in her new life.’
