The downside of winning Eurovision is having to fork out to host the next one, and after three wins in a row, Ireland was ready for a reprieve! In 1995, its intentionally forgettable entry Dreamin’ by equally forgettable but talented Eddie Friel finally broke the chain, coming 14th.
