Indeed, if you often escape outdoors when feeling frazzled, then you’re doing yourself a favour. Environmental psychologist Stephen Kaplan called the wonder we feel while observing stunning sunsets or landscapes ‘soft fascination’, and it may help relieve mental fatigue. Go on, get outside!
