FERN’S TV RETURN

She left This Morning in 2009, after hosting the show alongside friend-turned-enemy Phillip Schofield for 10 years. Now Fern Britton has revealed she’s ‘itching’ to return. The 65-year-old – who later admitted, ‘I was treated pretty poorly [on the show]’ – said, ‘I do miss the people on This Morning; I’m still friends with all the crew and sometimes when there’s a big story, I’m itching to do the interview.’ While she might not be on This Morning, Fern will be back on our screens soon. ‘In September I’m fronting three documentaries about Cornwall,’ she says.
