If all the above fills you with dread, then focus your attention on getting more steps in. Get up each morning, stick on your favourite podcast or radio show and do a minimum 5,000 steps (roughly two miles). If you want to increase the benefit, then every 500 steps run a few. Don’t let it become a chore, make it something lovely that you look forward to and which gives you time to yourself.
