‘THERE SHOULD BE A LIMIT’

-

Former cabin crew Sam Pape says,

‘In my two-and-a-half years as cabin crew, I had some interesting experiences with drunk passengers. After one couple knocked back the red wine, the man vomited all over himself, his wife and the emergency door. Then he claimed someone else had thrown up on him!

‘I think passengers need to be more conscious of how quickly they will feel intoxicated when flying and how that affects others. I don’t think some airlines help either, particularly short haul, as there is commission on sales, which may encourage crew to upsell extra alcohol; I think there should be a limit per passenger.’
