✱ In July 2022, an Easyjet flight from Liverpool to Tenerife was forced to detour because of a drunken couple who allegedly abused fellow passengers and cabin crew. It was described by a passenger as ‘the flight from hell’.

✱ A woman on a Jet2 flight apologised after her flight to Turkey was rerouted to Vienna when she had a mid-air tantrum. She said she was a nervous flyer and had drunk to calm down. She was fined £5,000 by the airline and banned from travelling with them for life.

✱ A 27-year-old male was fined £320 after he was removed from a Ryanair flight to Portugal following his drunken antics in July this year. He’d bought a bottle of vodka from duty free and was said to have downed a third of it.
