DON’T LET COUNTING THE PENNIES COST YOUR HEALTH

-

The cost of living crisis is a top concern for most of us right now, with health and fitness slipping down the list, according to a new survey by Nutrimuscle*. While 36% of Brits surveyed agreed that their health and fitness was a priority for them at the start of 2022, by June a third were unsure if it still was. In fact, one in five Brits have cancelled their gym memberships recently.

Of course there are other, cheaper ways to exercise – almost a quarter of those surveyed said they preferred working out at home now, and one in five had bought workout equipment over the pandemic, and wanted to keep using it. Good weather also provides great motivation for going for a walk.

In fact, despite the cost of keeping fit, nearly 45% of Brits are currently happy with their health and fitness levels, giving us all hope that rocketing prices won’t mean we have to throw our health goals out of the window.
