After her infamous post ‘It’s… Rebekah Vardy’s account’ on social media, Coleen Rooney was dubbed ‘Wagatha Christie’. Her sleuthing skills led to her revealing that Vardy was behind media leaks about Coleen and her family. But her action was not without consequences, as fellow WAG Rebekah sued her for libel, leading to a lengthy trial.

We learned that Rebekah’s agent Caroline Watts’ phone ended up in the North Sea, unable to be used in evidence, and there was a scathing mention of the size of Peter Andre’s manhood. Ultimately, though, Rebekah, 40, lost and was ordered to pay all legal costs. The court found she ‘frequently abused her status as a trusted follower [of Coleen]’ and ‘knew of, condoned and was actively engaged in’ media leaks.

But it seems the £3 million trial isn’t over yet, with Coleen, 36, said to be ‘discussing the next steps’. The mumof-four may put forward her own damages claim against Rebekah for ‘misuse of private information and a breach of data protection laws’.
