Highgrove House
Prince Charles and the Duchess of Cornwall
Surrounded by the rolling Gloucestershire hills, the Prince of Wales’ country retreat, Highgrove House, was purchased by The Duchy of Cornwall in 1980 and is now used as the Cornwalls’ family residence. The nine-bedroom mansion is modest in comparison to other royal abodes, but it’s the gardens and 900 acres of organic land – including a farm which Prince Charles installed – that prove to be the showstopper of this property.
