RUTH’S WORST FEAR

They’re one of TV’S best-loved couples but things aren’t always rosy for Ruth Langsford and Eamonn Holmes. Of late, conflicting schedules have meant that the former This Morning duo no longer spend as much time together as they once did, and now Ruth – who married Eamonn in 2010 – has shared her ‘worst fear’ in a candid admission.

The Loose Women panellist, 62, revealed, ‘The worst thing for me is if he went off with someone the same age… I think that is harder than being dumped for someone younger. That’s my worst fear.’ She explained, ‘See, I think people go, “Oh, you’d hate it if you were dumped for a younger model.” I go, no, I would hate it… [but] then I could do the whole cliche thing, “Oh, Eamonn is such a cliche, he’s going with a 25year-old, how sad.”’
