Get to know your breasts
Breast Cancer Now has three top, easy tips for checking your boobs:
✱ Touch your breasts: can you feel anything new or unusual?
✱ Look for changes: does anything look different to you?
✱ Check any new or unusual changes with a GP.
Manveet Basra at Breast Cancer Now, says: ‘It’s really important to get used to checking your breasts regularly to be aware of anything that’s new or different for you. Making this part of your routine – such as when showering, putting on moisturiser or getting dressed – can help you to make it a habit of a lifetime. You don’t need any training. Check your whole breast area, including up to your collarbone (upper chest) and armpits.’
