FERN BETRAYED?
Our hearts broke for Fern Britton, 65, when pictures of her exhusband Phil Vickery kissing her best friend Lorraine Stanton emerged. Phil, 61 – who was married to Fern for 20 years before they split in 2020 – and Lorraine, 58, were spotted kissing as they left a London hotel. Fern has spoken out about navigating her divorce saying, ‘The rebound is difficult… but I’m in another brand-new chapter and do feel it will be all right’, but these latest snaps will surely upset the star. A source said, ‘They’re two of the most important people in her life and them behaving this way in public will feel like a betrayal.’
Fern and Lorraine have been friends for years. However, after recent events, that’s likely to change, although Fern herself was quick to refute the suggestion she is upset by the pairing. Despite her defiant stance, we can’t imagine them all sharing a cosy night in and, anyway, what happened to the girl code?
