Snack blanket

Schoolgirl Alyssa Dean wanted to help homeless people so she came up with an ingenious and eco-conscious way to do just that. The 12-year-old from Prestatyn has made 205 blankets to help local rough sleepers keep warm. The survival sheets are made from 44 (hard to recycle) crisp packets, cleaned and ironed together into a single sheet. Absolute genius.
