A cheap shop

If you’re wondering where to shop for your festive menu, Aldi has just been declared the cheapest supermarket for the fifth month running. Shoppers paid £75.79 on average for a basket of 48 items with Waitrose the most expensive, at £101.17. My tip for this Christmas is buy plenty of booze. It’ll be useful as we sit in our unheated living rooms with the Christmas lights off, under a blanket.
