CHRISTMAS arrived early
Presents… check. Food… check – all that’s left is festive fun!

Joel and I have four children, aged from five to 18, so Christmas is a big deal in our home. Fortunately, we can enjoy it all without money worries because I’ve been saving throughout the year. It’s a brilliant feeling knowing the presents are all sorted – and the food shop, too.
I found out about Park a few years ago, through a friend, so I thought I’d give it a go. It’s easy to join online and I have an app on my phone so I can check my account any time, or change the vouchers I’ve ordered.
The first couple of years I paid in enough to give me £400-£500 in gift cards and vouchers. It was such a help that I decided I’d increase the amount so I’d have enough to cover my Christmas food shop.
Now I put aside just under £100 a month – and when my gift cards and vouchers arrived this year, I had £900 worth to cover all the festive expenses. My youngest, Phoebe, is five so her wish list is all about toys, Barbie and anything to do with dolls. Ruby, 13, and Jorgia, 18, love clothes and make-up, while Lucca, 16, is more interested in tech stuff.
The choices are great – I generally use the Love2shop gift card and I’ll go to Primark for Christmas PJS, River Island, Boux Avenue, New Look and JD Sports for clothes, and Argos for gadgets. I do some of the shopping online, too, which is really handy.
Tucking that money away with Park is such a help – come the end of the year, there’s no stress, so we can all focus on enjoying Christmas.
