You’ve never looked bet­ter!

I have an amaz­ing glam squad. It takes 15 hours to look like this.

BGT is my dream gig. I can’t be­lieve how fast it comes round. You get Christ­mas out of the way, Jan­uary comes around and it’s such a de­press­ing month, but then we go on the road and do the au­di­tions, which is fan­tas­tic.

I’ve just seen a four-legged fash­ion show with a Carol Vor­der­man looka­like back­stage…

Do you know what we saw the other day? A man who be­lieved suck­ing the spines out of jel­lied eels was a tal­ent. I had to leave the stage, it was so dis­gust­ing and fishy.

You’ve seen it all!

Ale­sha [Dixon, her fel­low BGT judge] and I were talk­ing about it. Each year we wonder if this the year that we’re not go­ing to be sur­prised – we are go­ing to turn into old cyn­ics. But af­ter 12 years, here we are, nearly all hav­ing pressed our golden buzzers only half­way through the tour and the tal­ent is amaz­ing! It proves I’m not the jaded old bird I thought I was, but still hope­ful.

You are def­i­nitely the queen of the golden buzzer!

We judges have done an award for high­est- rated golden buzzer win­ning fi­nal and I cur­rently hold it. I think Ale­sha is third but Si­mon and I tus­sle for top place. So, yes, there’s a bit of a com­pe­ti­tion be­tween us.

I sup­pose my lovely 80-year-old dancer Paddy Jones, who was tossed into the air. I couldn’t
