5 Visit Lokrum
Ferries run to the Unesco-protected island of Lokrum every 30 minutes during the summer months, where you can visit beautiful botanical gardens and see plenty of wildlife. Lokrum is home to lots of peacocks, first brought to the island more than 100 years ago – and giant rabbits, too! You can also swim, sunbathe and snorkel along Lokrum’s coast, as well as play volleyball on small pitches on the island. There’s a nudist beach too, if that’s your thing!
