Sex isn’t working

Woman's Own - - GOOD ADVICE -

QEarlier this year I met a wonderful man. I haven’t been with anyone since I was divorced four years ago and he has also been single for a while. He’s very loving but sex isn’t working for us. It’s awkward and sometimes embarrassing (I’m not sure why) and the more we try the worst it seems to get. I am too scared to talk to him about it. Ali, 43, Bristol

ASo much of good sex comes from communication and being open about your desires and feelings. If you feel too scared to bring up then it means that you are just jumping in and hoping for the best. Don’t be afraid to slow things down and talk about it. Try not to focus on what’s going wrong, instead talk about what you like, what he likes, and work on those parts to improve things.
